Responsive sites + Responsive communication
Since 2007 I’ve helped businesses and organizations of all sizes create, maintain, and improve their web presence. I work closely with business owners and project managers to make the process as fluid, understandable, and pain-free as possible. I can consult with you to help you create or modify your existing site so it works better and looks clean and beautiful on a variety of devices. I also can help manage your day-to-day web operations, improve your SEO, or build e-learning modules for your college or university. I use HTML/CSS/Javascript/Wordpress, and work regularly with two web monsters (in the cuddly sense of the word) who bring additional deep skills in object-oriented programming and design. This gives me great flexibility in handling a variety of web services efficiently and expertly. My team includes developer Kobie Maitland and designer Jake Koprowski. Do you need a web person or team with strong technical and communication skills? Drop me a line, and let’s discuss. Oh..and just so you’re prepared, my last name is pronounced Taye-Kiff (no one ever gets that right).
Prior experience
From 2013 through 2017, I built dozens of e-learning applications for Embanet Compass and then Pearson Education, after they acquired Embanet. I found the process of turning design wireframes into clear and engaging learning activities to be incredibly compelling. Following this experience, I spent a few years managing a development agency and working in the corporate and non-profit spaces, but after some reflection I've realized the e-learning space is a more interesting avenue to pursue.
Working e-learning modules
I built over 50 e-learning modules for Embanet Compass, Inc, and Pearson Education (which acquired Embanet Compass in 2014), collaborating with ID's and managers to build and refine these activities. These are working modules, so feel free to go through them!
